Dean and Jamie have been working together since 2006 they shared a passion for food and exceptional service. They opened 24 St Georges in December 2010. They are both family men with children so like to keep busy!
Dean Heselden Born and bred in Brighton, he began his cheffing career in 1996, and spent a good portion of his time living and working as a chef in the Mediterranean. Dean won the extremely prestigious industry title of Tilda Chef of the Year 2010 at the Salon Culinaire des Londres Hotelympia Exhibition, competing against some of the best chefs in the UK. He was also a semi-finalist in the National Chef of the Year competition 2010. He has also now excelled in his primary role as head chef at 24 St Georges creating our menus and winning us a place in the 2013 Michelin Guide
Jamie Everton-Jones A graduate design engineer by training, Jamie changed his career path in 2002 to pursue his passion for food and culinary dreams. Jamie won two merits at the 2010 Hotelympia Exhibition. As well as Deans creative sounding board with dish development & trusty Sous chef in kitchen his primary role lies with the overseeing the rest of the operation outside of the kitchen
